Visit your community’s Clerk’s website for dates, hours, and locations for in-person absentee voting. Links are provided below.
March 28: Deadline to Request an Absentee Ballot
Unless you are indefinitely confined, you have to apply for Absentee Ballots each year.
You can request that an absentee ballot be mailed to you online.
April 2: Election Day
Your completed Absentee Ballot must be delivered to your local clerk by 8 p.m. on April 2nd. If you mail your ballot, the US Postal Service strongly suggests mailing it no later than a week before April 2nd to ensure it arrives on time. You may also hand-deliver your absentee ballot to your local clerk before election day or to your polling location by 8:00 PM on election day, April 2nd.
ALERT: No Drop Boxes for April 2nd
Drop boxes were a safe and secure way for voters to deliver their absentee ballots during the pandemic. Unfortunately, in 2022 the State Supreme Court allowed a ban on drop boxes to go into effect. Consequently, absentee voters are limited to mailing their ballots or hand-delivering them.
