I Ask for Your Vote on April 2nd

The services and support county government provides profoundly benefit our communities and, most importantly, our residents.

I know this firsthand. And it’s why I want to continue serving as your Dane County Board Supervisor.

My mother, a single parent of five kids and Japanese immigrant, worked long hours as a waitress. County assistance ensured we had food and healthcare in the worst of times. In my later teens, the advocacy of a county social worker and the sanctuary of a foster home positively altered the course of my life. This experience — access to quality, equitable county services — is why I serve and am seeking re-election. It is also why I have consistently supported expanding case management services for seniors, increased funding for youth centers and affordable housing, and joined my colleagues to expand mental health crisis support.

Over 18 years on the County Board, I’ve built a track record of supporting our community and neighbors. I’ve worked hard to improve the health of our lakes and expand recreational access. I advocate for sustainability to build our climate change resilience and stand for smart, proactive economic development.

It is my honor to serve as the County Board Supervisor for District 34. Please help me continue this important work with your vote on April 2nd.
